The official Central Arkansas GLBT Pride event!

Are you ready to help out and make this year’s pride a rousing success! Here’s your first step! This volunteer form will explain the volunteer positions we have available, and will allow you to get your name and contact info to our volunteer coordinator, who will then contact you with more information about how you can help.

There are five volunteer “categories” available:

• Pride event volunteer: If you mark this, then you wish to be a volunteer on the day of the main event. This may include set-up and tear-down, and so-on. The position may require some heavy lifting, but we WILL accommodate your abilities.
• Fundraising event volunteer: If you mark this, then you wish to be a volunteer for one of our fundraising events. You will only be contacted about attending the event to help set-up, tear-down, and so-on. The position may require some heavy lifting, but we WILL accommodate your abilities.
• Fundraising committee volunteer: If you mark this, then you wish to volunteer to assist the committee which organizes the fundraising events. You will be asked to attend committee meetings, help plan events, and also attend events to assist with set up, tear-down, coordinating other volunteers, and so-on.
• Sponsorship committee: If you mark this, then you wish to volunteer for the committee which organizes and searches for sponsorships for Little Rock Capital pride. You will be asked to attend committee meetings (rare), contact possible sponsors, act as a contact-person for sponsors, seek out new sponsorship opportunities, and so-on.
• Publicity committee: If you mark this, then you wish to volunteer for the committee which organizes publicity and marketing. You will be asked to attend committee meetings (rare), contact possible marketing media, act as a contact-person for media, seek out new marketing opportunities, distribute marketing materials, and so-on.

You are welcome to volunteer for as many committees as you want, but we do ask that you please make a firm commitment to each committee. Please don’t over-sell yourself if you won’t be able to follow through. We are dedicated to making this year’s pride a huge success, and we need “all-hands-on-deck” to make this happen!
