About LRCP

The Mission Statement of Little Rock Capital Pride is to host events that honor the history and diversity of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender (GLBT) individuals in the State of Arkansas and surrounding areas and create unity within the GLBT community and its allies by providing social support and enhancing awareness of the past and present contributions of GLBT individuals through community activities and services, including an annual Pride event.

Little Rock Capital Pride is a group of volunteers who put together Little Rock’s annual pride celebration. Currently, the group is in its third year and has officially became a 501(c)3 organization.

Board of Directors
The following directors have been elected to serve the position noted. The name is followed by the date the term expires.

Serving on the Board
Serving on the Board is an incredibly rewarding, satisfying way to give back to the community; however, it requires a great deal of time, energy, and effort. If this sounds like something you would like to do, LRCP would welcome your involvement. The members of LRCP vote every July to determine who will serve in the expired board member terms for the upcoming year. The LRCP bylaws can give you the complete details of the selection/election process. A tip: LRCP members most likely will vote for those people who they feel understand LRCP and are committed to its success. The best way to convey that characteristic in yourself is to serve as an LRCP volunteer. There are many volunteer positions available.

Committees
There are a number of committees within the board, responsible for certain aspects of events leading up to pride, as well as for the event itself. If you are interested in joining a committee, please e-mail the chairperson of that committee (e-mails listed above):
